Did you know that reading can enhance brain connectivity, reduce stress, improve sleep, prevent cognitive decline, and promote relaxation? So, read with you mental health in mind. Bibliotherapy is a form of therapeutic approach that uses book and other types of literature (i.e., poetry) along with traditional psychotherapy approaches to support an individual’s mental health. It can - educate, facilitate growth, heal, provide insight and self-awareness, teach us about ourselves, increase empathy, give perspective, create hope, help to reflect on our life, and recognize that we are not alone.  Don’t like reading … don’t worry … listen to an audiobook.  These books are resources that can provide you with advice, guidance, inspiration, motivation, and strategies in taking steps to enhance your life, overcome challenges, be your authentic self, and improve your well-being.
